  • City Tour: Tripoli!

This time, we embark on a city tour of a well-known Lebanese city, offering a unique perspective on Tripoli.

Our exploration of Tripoli commences at the citadel, where a comprehensive explanation of its history and architecture awaits, followed by a thorough tour of the citadel itself.

Descending the staircase, we'll reach the Historical Access and proceed to The New Bath, Mansouri Mosque, the Jewelry Souk, Gypsy Bath (Hammam el Nouri), and Khan el Saboun. We'll then trace our steps along the Historical Path to visit The Taylor’s Khan (Khan el Khayyateen) and The Egyptian Khan (Khan el Masriyyeen).

Continuing our journey, we'll have a distant view of Bortassieh mosque and school before exploring Souk el Haraj and Soldier’s Khan (Khan el 3askar).
  • Hiking in Chbanieh – The Lamartine Valley

We’ll explore Chbanieh, a picturesque village in the Metn Region, following a trail prepared and coordinated by Vamos Todos. This enchanting hiking destination is rich with natural beauty and cultural heritage.

    Highlights of Chbanieh
    • Nestled in the Lamartine Valley, named after the French poet who was captivated by its beauty.
    • Covered with verdant trees and orchards, typical of Lebanese mountain villages.
    • Home to ancient monuments, including the “graves of the Jews” and the cave “Magharat Harb”, which houses two natural springs, Kakha and Fouar.
    • Site of the ancient Mar Fram Monastery, which we will visit before the hike.

  • Ras El Metn – Ksaibe Hike

Discover Ras El Metn: A Hidden Gem in the Baabda District
Nestled in the Baabda district, Ras El Metn is a charming Lebanese village perched atop a hill and embraced by a lush pine forest. The village offers breathtaking views of both valleys and the sea, enhancing its natural beauty and allure.

Ras El Metn is notable as the birthplace of the prominent Lebanese writer Anis Freiha, who described it poetically as:

"In Lebanon, there is a sacred mountain, the summit of which may be the most beautiful peak of God on earth, which is my village Ras El Metn."

He emphasized its geographical isolation, surrounded by two deep valleys.

Designated as a "Summer Tourism Town" by the Ministry of Tourism, Ras El Metn warmly invites visitors to experience its unique charm.

About

About Us

Vamos Todos is an ecotourism NGO that promotes and encourages the love of nature amongst its members, thus seeing life through a new perspective.

The name Vamos Todos, which means "Let's go all together" was chosen to reflect the spirit of our club, where you can participate “in a different way, in a better way”, which is also our slogan, in any of the multitude of activities which will be organized for you, with one major goal in mind: HAVING A GREAT TIME.

The club was founded in September 2006, by Mark Aoun, a Lebanese guy who has been hiking for more than 20 years, and has been all over Lebanon as well as some other countries. He would like to share with you his love for nature and life, introducing you to the magnificent place which is our home country.

Our success goes to a professional team who gave from their heart to ensure this NGO’s success. We cannot omit mentioning those who were with Vamos Todos as of the beginning, namely: Alba Wardini who is the heart of Vamos Todos and Tania Charabati. We were one team at the launch of VT!

Special thanks to the professional guides, particularly Tony Fallakha and Elie Saade, who gave and are still giving so much for VT.

We, at Vamos Todos, plan to help you enjoy every single moment you spend with us by offering you a variety of social events, outdoor adventures, sports activities, overseas trips and unusual experiences which will whisk you away for a day or two from your daily routine, bringing you back happy, refreshed and ready to confront another tiring week of work.

Campsite

The Vamos Todos Campsite in Zeaitre is a unique eco-project born in the heart of nature, built from scratch with the support of local people and investors from Davatravel. Designed and crafted by hand, the campsite reflects our vision of sustainable tourism and community collaboration. We began by creating a central gathering area, a welcoming space for campfires, reunions, and group activities, along with an open kitchen serving fresh food and drinks. The site now includes a traditional bungalow, fixed tents, and several eco-friendly facilities designed for both short and long stays. Every element of the campsite was built using local materials, blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape and offering visitors an authentic, rustic experience in the wild.

The campsite is also part of a network of trails that connect Zeaitre with its surrounding cultural and natural gems. Visitors can choose between easy, moderate, and hard hiking levels, with access to cultural trails leading through Yahchouch, Ghine, Maaysra, and Azra, as well as the nearby Mradiyeh Valley. Just 10 minutes away lies the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO-listed site rich in biodiversity and history. The location also offers opportunities for mountain biking (VTT), cultural tours of the region, and direct access to the village of Zeaitre with its traditional heritage and welcoming community.
