Upcoming Events

  • Jurd el Njas Cedar Forest - Bqaa Safrine – Jabal Al Arba’in

This truly beautiful region, located in the remote rural areas of Jurd El Dannieh, is relatively unfamiliar to hikers. In a bid to attract people to visit the wonders of that unique area, officials launched a touristic attraction park that includes a plane, the highest swing in the Middle East, a watch tower, and a lovely balcony. We will surely visit this outstanding location at the end of our hike. We will also roam in a beautiful cedar forest known as Jurd El Njas and enjoy the magnificent views it offers to visitors.

Bqaa Safrine is one of the most important summer villages in northern Lebanon, where thousands of tourists and vacationers come annually. It has an area of 100 km2. It is located at about 29 km from Tripoli and about 114 km from Beirut.
  • The Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve protects one of the largest and densest cedar forests in Lebanon.

Ninety percent of the trees in the forest are cedars. The stunning mountainous landscape, with cedars seemingly defying gravity and growing on extremely vertical slopes, is impressive.
The Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve overpowers us with its beauty, especially in winter.

Warm yourself up with the appropriate outfit and footgear and spend with us a memorable day on the snow among beautiful trees and with excellent company.

As usual, there will be two levels of difficulty.

Level 3 - will have a moderate walk, with few ascents and descents and will have various stops for picture taking and resting.

Level 6 – will be mainly for exercising.
  • Baadaran Hike & Wine Tasting

On that day, the trail will take us to another town, in one of the best sites of ecotourism in Lebanon; the Shouf region.
We will be heading to El Khreibe, which is part of the transition zone of the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, the largest reserve in Lebanon.

First of all, we cannot but start by thanking the Shouf Reserve for its care and attention to the nearby villages, especially by exploring and establishing new trails, thanks to the local guides of the villages who we can never thank enough for the time, effort, and the local knowledge that they share.

Our hike will be one moderate to easy level, Level 4 (9 Km).

We will start all together and reach the Khreibe water source.
  • Ramadan Karim

The holy month of Ramadan is about to end, and this calls for a special Iftar among VT members. Lebanon is a diversified religious community, so let’s all be the perfect example of what Lebanon should be.

    Tripoli is our target.

The tour in Tripoli will start from the citadel. There will be a detailed explanation of the history and the architecture of the monument and a full tour of the citadel.
Then you will descend the staircase to reach the Historical Access. From there, you will head to The New Bath, then to Mansouri Mosque, to the Jewelry Souk, Gypsy Bath (Hammam el Nouri), Khan el Saboun, then back to the Historical Path in order to reach to The Taylor’s Khan (Khan el Khayyateen) and The Egyptian Khan (Khan el Masriyyeen).

About Us

About Us

Vamos Todos is an ecotourism NGO that promotes and encourages the love of nature amongst its members, thus seeing life through a new perspective.

The name Vamos Todos, which means "Let's go all together" was chosen to reflect the spirit of our club, where you can participate “in a different way, in a better way”, which is also our slogan, in any of the multitude of activities which will be organized for you, with one major goal in mind: HAVING A GREAT TIME.

The club was founded in September 2006, by Mark Aoun, a Lebanese guy who has been hiking for more than 20 years, and has been all over Lebanon as well as some other countries. He would like to share with you his love for nature and life, introducing you to the magnificent place which is our home country.

Our success goes to a professional team who gave from their heart to ensure this NGO’s success. We cannot omit mentioning those who were with Vamos Todos as of the beginning, namely: Alba Wardini who is the heart of Vamos Todos and Tania Charabati. We were one team at the launch of VT!

Special thanks to the professional guides, particularly Tony Fallakha and Elie Saade, who gave and are still giving so much for VT.

We, at Vamos Todos, plan to help you enjoy every single moment you spend with us by offering you a variety of social events, outdoor adventures, sports activities, overseas trips and unusual experiences which will whisk you away for a day or two from your daily routine, bringing you back happy, refreshed and ready to confront another tiring week of work.
