Ecotourism Trip - Olive picking and Karke Day! - Keserwan District

  • OLIVE PICKING & KARKE DAY!
    Join us for a serene and joyful day in nature!

    We’ll begin with olive picking among the beautiful olive trees in Zeaitre’s garden, around Vamos Todos Guesthouse — a grounding activity that connects us to the land, its rhythms, and its traditions. We’ll take time to pick olives, learn about their varieties and uses, and discover how olive-based products are made.

    You’ll also enjoy a small eco experience — crushing olives with a stone to prepare the traditional madkouk (crushed olives)! You’ll get to taste the fresh olives and the newly pressed olive oil.

    Take peaceful moments of meditation and relaxation in nature, pausing to breathe, reflect, and feel the harmony of the olive groves.

    Later, we’ll gather around the karke for a warm, authentic lunch made with local flavors, celebrating the season’s bounty together — and enjoy freshly distilled local arak straight from the karke! It will be an open arak experience!

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.
