Snowshoeing - Laqlouq Snowshoeing - Jbeil District

    Laqlouq is a stunning year-round resort, nestled on a plateau between 1750m and 2000m in altitude, surrounded by rugged ridges and terraces filled with thousands of trees.

    The area is known for its numerous water reservoirs, and in winter, when it’s blanketed in snow, the landscape transforms into a magical scene, with frozen ponds scattered throughout. It’s a naturally beautiful view that’s truly worth experiencing.

    As always, snowshoeing offers a peaceful and serene way to connect with nature. We will explore Laqlouq’s charm as we walk through the snow-covered landscape.

    There will be two levels of difficulty:
    • Both groups will explore the same area, but the harder level will tackle steeper inclines and a longer route, leading to the summit where a large cross stands, offering panoramic views of the surrounding region.

    The two groups will meet for lunch at a scenic spot. Please bring your own lunch.

    On the return journey, time permitting, we will stop in Annaya to visit the Monastery of St. Charbel and enjoy a short break for coffee or tea.

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: $40 per person including transport, guides, insurance and snowshoes.
