Hiking Trip - Falougha Sunset Hike - Baabda District

  • Falougha – Qornayel – Hammana Sunset Ecotouristic Experience

    Kick off summer with us in the breathtaking green hills of Mount Lebanon!
    We’ll explore the beautiful villages of Falougha, Qornayel, and Hammana, each rich in nature, history, and local charm.

    Highlights:
    • Discover the Falougha ponds – man-made reservoirs that once supplied Beirut with water, now surrounded by peaceful scenery.
    • Walk through the Cedar Forest of Falougha, where the Lebanese flag was first raised in 1943.
    • Enjoy a 7 km sunset hike (moderate to easy) along scenic trails and water ponds.

    Evening Activities:
    • Gather in the village for an authentic local evening.
    • Taste sage manakich, roasted corn, and oven-baked potatoes under the stars.
    • Breathe in fresh mountain air and relax in nature.

    End the journey in Hammana:
    • Walk through the historical streets of Hammana, visit the iconic Lamartine House and explore Hammana Square.
    • Discover the filming location of the famous series Al Hayba – a perfect finale to this cultural and natural experience.

    Let’s hike, eat, and celebrate nature together in Falougha and beyond!

    1500 m above sea level - 35 km from Beirut
