    Ecotourism Day in Jwar El Hawz & Hammana

    Our upcoming adventure is as delightful as a blooming cherry tree! We’re heading to the charming village of Jwar El Hawz for a unique summer experience: cherry picking!

    The day begins with a visit to the picturesque village of Hammana, where we’ll explore its quaint streets and iconic landmarks:
    • A stroll through the old souk
    • A stop at the village square, made famous by the Arabic TV series Al Hayba
    • A visit to the historic churches of Hammana
    • A chance to admire the majestic Chaghour waterfall

    After our tour, we’ll board the bus to Jwar El Hawz, where a peaceful 1 km walk through cherry orchards awaits us.

    Each participant will receive a bucket and dive into the cherry-picking fun!

    Enjoy the joy of harvesting your own cherries straight from the trees. You’ll take home around 1 kg of fresh cherries as a reward—and if you’d like more, additional cherries will be available at a special price.

    Following our fruitful adventure, we’ll gather to enjoy a delicious homemade Lebanese lunch in a serene, rural setting—celebrating the flavors of the land and the spirit of ecotourism.

    WHEN: Saturday, June 21

    Our breakfast will be taken along the way.

    PRICE: $70 per person, including transport, guides, insurance and lunch. (45 for kids under 10)
    $40 without lunch (25 for kids under 10)
