Hiking Trip - Ehmej to Arz Jaj Hike - Jbeil District

  • Arz Jaj: Exploring Ancient Cedars

    Discover the majestic Cedars of Jaj, home to some of Lebanon's oldest cedar trees and one of the last remnants of the ancient cedar forests that once covered the mountains. These remarkable trees, rooted among rocky cliffs, are a symbol of Lebanon's rich natural heritage.

    Our adventure offers two hiking levels, both starting from Ehmej before reaching Saqi Rechmaya, where the groups will separate:
    • Level 6: A challenging ascent through forests and ancient cedar groves, rewarded with breathtaking mountain views.
    • Level 3: A scenic transfer by bus to Arz Jaj, followed by an enjoyable walk among the historic cedar trees.

    The two groups will reunite for a delicious homemade lunch at a charming guesthouse near the Cedar Reserve.

    Before returning to Beirut, we'll visit the birthplace of Blessed Brother Estephan Nehme in Lehfed, adding a cultural and spiritual touch to this unforgettable day.

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: $70 per person including transport, guides, insurance, reserve entrance and lunch.
