    Join us for a beautiful ecotourism experience in the heart of Aley district, where nature, history, and authentic village life come together.
    Our hike will begin in the charming village of Kfarmatta, a picturesque mountain village overlooking the western slopes of Mount Lebanon. Known for its traditional character, fertile lands, and beautiful natural surroundings, Kfarmatta offers breathtaking views over the mountains and valleys of the region.

    From there, we will descend through scenic landscapes, passing through forests, agricultural terraces, and along the river. One of the highlights of this hike is the opportunity to discover several old water mills, once used by local communities to grind grain and support rural life. These historic mills stand as reminders of Lebanon's rich heritage and the strong connection between people and natural resources.

    Our destination is Jeser El Ade, an impressive historic stone bridge that has connected communities across the valley for generations. Nestled within a beautiful natural setting, the bridge reflects the architectural heritage of the region and offers a perfect spot to appreciate the harmony between nature and history.

    Hike Details: Level 4+ – Moderate
    • Scenic trail through forests, valleys, and traditional rural landscapes
    • Walk along the river and discover historic water mills
    • Explore the beautiful surroundings of Jeser El Ade
    • Enjoy panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities throughout the hike

    After the Hike, we will gather for a delicious homemade lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying authentic regional dishes while taking in a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

    WHEN: Saturday, October 10

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: $70 per person, including transport, guides, insurance, reserve entrance and lunch.
