Hiking Trip - Jabal Moussa Reserve Hike - Keserwan District

  • JABAL MOUSSA HIKE

    Standing on the shoulders of the Mount Lebanon Chain, facing the Mediterranean Sea, Jabal Moussa Reserve is one of Lebanon’s wildest and most unspoiled areas.
    Recently protected by municipal laws.
    • Encloses the historic Adonis Valley with its ancient agricultural patios.
    • Features historical trails dating back to the Roman era.
    • Home to rare species of wildlife and vegetation, making it a national treasure.

    Hike Details:
    • Two levels available: Level 4+ and Level 6.
    • Both start through a scenic trail surrounded by oak and juniper trees, reaching the cross on Kornet el Mzar.

    Level 4+:
    • Downhill path towards Yahchouch.
    • Visit Mar Jeryes Church.
    • Continue towards Nahr el Dahab.

    Level 6:
    • Takes a different, more challenging trail upwards towards Amez.
    • Pass by old abandoned houses.
    • Reach the top of the Roman stairs, then descend to meet the other groups at Nahr el Dahab.

    After the Hike:
    • Lunch prepared by local villagers.
    • Gather in an old Lebanese traditional guesthouse for a special meal.
    • Return back to Beirut.

    Our breakfast will be taken along the way.

    PRICE: $70 per person, including transport, guides, insurance and lunch.
