Hiking Trip - Yahchouch Waterfalls Hike - Yahchouch

    Join us as we explore Yahchouch, a mountain village in Mount Lebanon where adventure, culture, and nature meet.
    • Named from Syriac “Yeh Hoshusho”, linked to the wounded god Adonis in Nahr Ibrahim
    • Part of the UNESCO Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve
    • Home to pine forests, waterfalls, and stunning views of the Nahr Ibrahim River

    Thanks to the local youth for restoring old hiking trails!

    Hiking Details:
    • Distance: 6 km
    • Levels: Moderate (2 waterfalls) & Hard (3 waterfalls)
    • Sights include:
    o Rock-carved tunnels
    o River crossings
    o Electricity dam
    o 14th-century Saint Georges Convent
    After the hike, enjoy a homemade Lebanese lunch in Ras Yahchouch before heading back to Beirut.
