    Discover the Splendor of Horsh Ehden

    Ehden Forest (Horsh Ehden) is one of Lebanon’s most vibrant ecosystems, especially in autumn when its diverse trees paint the reserve in stunning colors. Despite covering less than 0.1% of Lebanon’s land, it shelters over 1,000 plant species—nearly 40% of the country’s flora.

    Hiking Levels
    • Level 3 (moderate):
    o Starts at Nabaa Jouit (lower entrance)
    o Passes pine, wild apple, oaks, and yellow-leafed maple trees
    o Ends at 1,750 m in the cedar forest
    • Level 5 (challenging):
    o Same as Level 3, but faster pace
    o Extends to Btellaya hut (2,000 m) with panoramic views and juniper trees
    • Level 6 (advanced – clear weather):
    o Climbs to the mountain peak
    o Stops at Abou Yousef’s house, Beb el Hawa cave, Jurd, and Saidet el Hosn

    Closing
    The day ends with a homemade lunch by local residents, a perfect way to celebrate this eco-adventure.

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: $65 per person including transport, guides, insurance and lunch.
