Hiking Trip - Ain Majdalein - Jezzine Hike - Jezzine District

  • Ain Majdalein to Jezzine: Hiking Above the South

    This time, we’re heading to Ain Majdalein, the highest village in the Jezzine district. This beautiful trail has been prepared by Vamos Todos in collaboration with the local residents.

    From this stunning location, you’ll enjoy panoramic views over South Lebanon, stretching from Tyre to Saida. After a short tour of the village to discover its key landmarks, we’ll begin our hike.

    As usual, the hike will be divided into two levels:
    • Level 6 (11 km)
    This group will hike up a hill in Ain Majdalein, reaching a summit with breathtaking views before descending to Azzibeh, a spot known for its many natural springs. From there, the trail continues through a scenic route leading directly to Jezzine.
    • Level 3 (6 km)
    This easier route starts from Ain Majdalein and heads straight to Azzibeh, where participants will join the Level 6 group to continue walking along the watercourse trail in Jezzine.

    Upon reaching Jezzine, both groups will enjoy a visit to the old souks, charming alleyways, and the famous waterfall.

    Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, featuring delicious homemade dishes prepared especially for our group. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to explore Jezzine before we head back to Beirut.

    Our breakfast will be taken along the way.

    PRICE: $65 per person, including transport, guides, insurance and lunch.
