    Qanat Bakish is a picturesque landscape, offering panoramic views from its location on Mount Sannine, near Faqra.

    The scenery is truly breathtaking, especially when blanketed with snow. We’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll along the snow-covered peaks, feeling the crisp breeze and taking in the stunning surroundings.

    Our path will lead us to a charming, relatively undiscovered cedar forest, where the views are nothing short of awe-inspiring. As usual, the hike will offer two levels of difficulty.

    The easy level will feature a leisurely walk with gentle ascents and descents- perfect for capturing beautiful moments along the way. It promises to be a delightful snowshoeing experience and a wonderful day with the group.

    The harder level will involve a moderate walk with some extended ascents, though not overly steep. This level is intended for more experienced walkers.

    Both levels will have the chance to see the largest illuminated cross in the world, located in Bakish. Standing 73.8 meters tall and 37 meters wide, it’s known as "The Cross of All Nations."

    Equipped with two elevators, it can accommodate up to 300 visitors, allowing access to a platform located at the top of the cross’s vertical beam. Illuminated by 1,800 spotlights, the cross was inaugurated on September 13, 2010.

    Both levels will reconvene for lunch at a scenic spot amidst the snow.

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.
