    This time, our journey takes us from The Cedars of God in Bcharre to Bekaa Kafra, passing through some of Lebanon’s most iconic winter landscapes. The Cedars of God, among the oldest documented forests in the world and once nominated alongside Jeita Grotto for the Seven Wonders of the World, offer a breathtaking setting in winter, with snow-covered trees and sculptures by Rudy Rahmeh enhancing the forest’s timeless beauty.

    Program highlights:
    • Explore the Cedars of God, the oldest cedar grove in Lebanon
    • Enjoy the serene winter scenery and photo opportunities among snow-covered cedars
    • Two activity options:
    o Group 1 (Easy): Walk inside the Cedar forest, then transfer by bus to Bekaa Kafra
    o Group 2 (Active): Longer hike from The Cedars to Bekaa Kafra, with uphill sections and scenic viewpoints, including a seasonal frozen pond
    • Discover Bekaa Kafra, the highest village in Lebanon (1850 m) and hometown of Saint Charbel
    • Visit Saint Charbel’s house, prayer cave, and key village landmarks
    • Both groups gather for lunch in Bekaa Kafra

    WHEN: Saturday, February 21

    MEETING TIME: 8:00 AM. Departure at 8:15 AM sharp.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: $50 per person including transport, guides, insurance, snowshoes and reserve entrance.
