  • Ecotourism Experience in Tyre: Historic Exploration and Beach Day

    We are heading to the beautiful white sandy coast of Tyre. It is one of the most picturesque shores in Lebanon, making it a perfect destination for sea turtles to nest during the summer season, which led to part of the coast being classified as a natural reserve in 1998.

    • Sea Excursion: Begin your day with a boat ride offering panoramic views of Tyre's ancient ruins and the nearby island.
    • Historic Exploration: Stroll through Tyre's old streets and visit the underground Roman ruins beneath the Catholic Archdiocese.
    • Visit to Ras el Ain Springs: Explore the ancient water sources at Ras el Ain, located approximately 5 kilometers south of Tyre. These springs have historically supplied water to the city and its surroundings.
    • Relaxation at Tyre's Sandy Beach: Unwind on the pristine sands of the Tyre Coast Nature Reserve, a vital nesting site for endangered sea turtles. Ministry of Education
    • Beachside Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Lebanese meal featuring mezza and fresh fish by the sea.
    • Visit to Qana: If it is possible, visit the village of Qana, believed by some to be the site of Jesus' first miracle of turning water into wine.
