Sunset Hike - Kfardebian Faraya Sunset Hike! - Keserwan District

  • Experience the breathtaking view of the sunset from the new 23-meter-high statue of St. Charbel in Faraya, inaugurated on September 14, 2017.

    Our journey begins in the Jurd of Kfardebian, where we'll embark on a moderate hike through beautiful landscapes. The trail includes some uphill sections but offers stunning scenery along the way.

    Upon reaching the summit, we'll be rewarded with panoramic views. On one side, you'll see the “Chabrouh” dam, and on the other, the sun setting over the sea horizon, all beneath the imposing “Chabrouh” cross and St. Charbel statue.

    After the sunset, we’ll head to a campsite in Faqra. Here, locals will prepare a traditional dinner, and we'll gather around a bonfire to warm up the night.

    1650 m above sea level

    WHEN: Sunday, September 13

    MEETING TIME: 2:00 PM. Departure at 2:15 PM sharp.

    PRICE: $65 per person, including transport, guides, insurance and dinner.
