Armenia & Georgia: A Journey Through History and Culture
As the summer season is coming soon, join Vamos Todos for exploring one of the most unique excursions of the season. This year, we have decided to broaden our expedition to include two countries, close in geography, scenery, and culture. We will be traveling to the beautiful countries of Georgia and the culturally rich Armenia.
These two countries, situated strategically at the crossroads where Europe meets Asia, are lands of a rich heritage of conflict and history.
Georgia is a land with a magnificent history and unparalleled natural beauty. It is home to very old churches overlooking majestic mountains and endless green meadows. With regions ranging from seashores to the vast Svaneti and Kazbeck, it is a country that is sure to satisfy all tastes.
Armenia is a land known for its history, culture, hospitality, and gourmet traditional food. Armenia's small, very homogeneous population is strongly family-oriented. All across the land, people place a lot of pride in their hospitality. Show up in a village without a penny, and food and a place to stay will come to you, along with drinks and endless toasts.
Our journey will start in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities.
