    The holy month of Ramadan has just started, and this calls for a special Iftar among VT members. Lebanon is a diversified religious community, so let’s all be the perfect example of what Lebanon should be.

    Tripoli is our target.

    The tour in Tripoli will start from the citadel. There will be a detailed explanation of the history and the architecture of the monument and a full tour of the citadel.
    Then you will descend the staircase to reach the Historical Access. From there, you will head to The New Bath, then to Mansouri Mosque, to the Jewelry Souk, Gypsy Bath (Hammam el Nouri), Khan el Saboun, then back to the Historical Path in order to reach to The Taylor’s Khan (Khan el Khayyateen) and The Egyptian Khan (Khan el Masriyyeen).
    From there, you will continue to see, from a distance, the mosque and the school of Bortassieh.
    Then you will visit Souk el Haraj and Soldier’s Khan (Khan el 3askar).

    Throughout the tour, Mr. Elias Khlat, a faithful member and friend, will guide us and provide us with valuable information in order to make the most of our journey together.

    The tour will be subject to minor modifications according to some conditions.

    Finally, we will head for the restaurant where a delicious Iftar will be served right on time!

    WHAT TO GET: Light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 5$.
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 4$.
    - University students will have a discount of 3$ provided that they present their university card.
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 2$ discount.
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 3$ discount.

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price
    - Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 2$.
    (e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
