Sightseeing - Al Mina Islands and City Tour - Tripoli District

  • Our aim today is to highlight the beauty of our old cities as well as the rarely known islands on our northern shores.

    This trip to Al Mina city is a very special one as it will include a walking tour in the old city and a boat tour around the unique islands of Lebanon.

    We will start by getting abroad on a boat from al mina port heading towards the 3 main islands: Sananeh, Palm Island and Ramkeen. We will tour around these islands with a detailed explanation on each of their historical aspects and touristic relevance taking our time to enjoy the beauty of our waters afar from the city.

    We will then head to al Ballan Island where we will take our time and swim in the clean surrounding water.

    Once done, we will head back to al Mina, and continue by foot in a tour inside the city.

    We will start by St. George’s church and cave reaching it through the old streets of Al Mina. We will also pass by the fish market.
    During our tour we will pass by a pub owned by one of Vamos Todos loyal friend where you can enjoy a drink surrounded by the beauty of the city.

    We will end our tour with a very special, fresh fish based lunch locally “netted” by the fishers of the city.

    There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

    PRICE: 70$ per person including transport, guides, boat, insurance, and lunch. (Please get the exact change to facilitate the registration process).

    WHAT TO GET: Towels, swimsuits, light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 30’000 LBP
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 15’000 LBP
    - University students will have a discounts of 15’000 LBP provided that they present their university card
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 5’000 LBP discount
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 10’000 LBP discount

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price
    - Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 5’000 LBP
    (e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
