    As we find ourselves in the midst of the holy month of Ramadan, it presents a perfect opportunity for VT members to gather for a special Iftar. In Lebanon, we are blessed with a diverse religious community, and it is our collective responsibility to embody the ideals of harmony and unity that Lebanon stands for.
    Our destination for this gathering is Tripoli.
    Our journey in Tripoli will commence from the citadel, where we will delve into its rich history and architectural significance through a comprehensive guided tour. Descending the staircase, we will explore the Historical Access, followed by visits to The New Bath, Mansouri Mosque, the Jewelry Souk, Gypsy Bath (Hammam el Nouri), Khan el Saboun, The Taylor’s Khan (Khan el Khayyateen), and The Egyptian Khan (Khan el Masriyyeen). We will also catch glimpses of the mosque and school of Bortassieh from a distance before continuing our exploration to Souk el Haraj and Soldier’s Khan (Khan el 3askar).
    Guiding us throughout this enriching experience will be Mr. Elias Khlat, a dedicated member and friend, who will provide us with invaluable insights to enhance our journey.
    Please note that minor adjustments may be made to the tour itinerary based on prevailing conditions.
    Our excursion will culminate in a delightful Iftar at a local restaurant, ensuring we break our fast together in a memorable setting.

    WHAT TO GET: Light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 5$.
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 4$.
    - University students will have a discount of 3$ provided that they present their university card.
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 2$ discount.
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 3$ discount.

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price
    - Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 2$.
    (e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
