    Join us for an unforgettable journey in Ftouh Keserwan, one of Lebanon's most vibrant regions, as we explore Jdaydet Ghazir and Al Ghineh.

    We'll kick off our day with some delicious Manakish in Jdaydet Ghazir before setting out on our hike. Jdaydet Ghazir, whose name reflects the Syriac words for "disconnected place" or "peaceful place," is a traditional town close to the sea. The area is rich in old houses, trails, streets, factories, and monasteries that evoke the charm of Lebanon's ancient architecture.

    Al Ghineh is a quintessential Lebanese village perched in the scenic Ftouh Keserwan, featuring numerous historical sites and stunning natural landscapes. It is home to two of the region's most significant historical landmarks: Adonis Rock and the remains of a Roman Temple.

    Our hike consists of one level: Level 5 (Moderate) will begin at Deir Mar Aabda in Jdaydet Ghazir, a beautiful monastery over 800 years old. From there, we’ll follow the well-preserved Roman steps, maintained by the local municipality, as we make our way to Ghineh village.

    Along the way, we'll visit Adonis Rock and Astarte, sharing the inspiring stories of ancient deities. Next, we’ll head to Kfour Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views stretching from Beirut to Northern Lebanon.

    Our hike will conclude with a downhill path leading to Kfour village, finishing next to Darb al O’youn.

    After our adventure, you’ll enjoy a homemade lunch prepared by local residents. Join us for a day filled with exploration, history, and delicious food!

    PRICE: $55 per person including transport, guides, insurance and lunch.

    WHAT TO GET: Light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear comfortable shoes such as hiking shoes and always keep a windproof jacket in your backpack.

    SPECIAL RATES:
    - Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 5$.
    - Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 4$.
    - University students will have a discount of 3$ provided that they present their university card.
    - Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 2$ discount.
    - Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 3$ discount.

    PAYMENT TERMS:
    - Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price
    - Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 2$.
    (e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

    ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS
    - Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event
    - Always follow the guide on the designated trail
    - Do not go off road without notifying the guide
    - Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so
    - Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member
    - Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.
