Equipments needed

  FOR HIKING


  • lightweight or mediumweight boots: better for the upper to be covering your ankle to avoid a twist in the achylles tendon.
  • everything cotton except for socks: jeans might be an idea as long as you feel confortable with it.
  • walking poles: especially for downhill so your knees won't have to carry all your load.
  • Wool socks: better in long roots.
  • food: ranging from an apple to dates, dry fruits and almonds ... no need for food rich in proteins, you get those when you arrive home, but for now you need to recharge fast to get going
  • Sunglasses
  • Jacket: in some areas it can get really cold.




  •   FOR SNOWSHOEING


  • waterproof boots: with goretex or event layer and a vibram sole; if not get with you nylon bags to cover your boots but do get boots high above the ankle.
  • Wool socks to avoid slippage and bad blisters ... try getting either smart wool or merino wool.
  • Poles: if you have ... if not, we will support you with
  • Something to cover your face ears and neck: you need to keep your head warm because it is responsible for exerting 1 third of your energy!
  • Gloves: very important so you avoid freezing or frostbite attack.
